Product Cases

1) Multi-size Axle Caps in a single Mould

Hendrickson, USA required multiple rubber parts for their product which they ship to the USA. We at Polyelastica developed a single mould that makes all the required parts to reduce the initial investment as the quantities were on the lower side.2) Heatshield for JLR EV Battery Pack

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR UK) required Silicon-Aluminium hot-bonded heatshield parts with specific rubber heat-retardant properties to attain passenger safety in the event of a thermal runaway in battery pack. We at Polyelastica collaborated with teams at JLR and Talbros to develop the first 330 parts to be assembled on vehicle.3) Control Link Bellows for ECL

Excel Control Linkages (ECL, a division of Greaves Cotton) were facing a bottleneck in supply Rubber bellows limiting their potential to expand quickly. Polyelastica improved on the quality and manufacturability of these bellows with the right combination of mould designs, rubber compound, POKA YOKE (for consistent <1 mm thickness) and process optimization. With Polyelastica making more than a million bellows every year and achieving DOL status, ECL could seamlessly expand on their production capacity.
